Part-time Development worker for 'People First [Sefton]' - a peer supported advocacy group for people with learning disabilities.
Visiting lecturer in Disability and Community Studies, Department of Applied Social Sciences at Edge Hill University, Ormskirk. Lancashire.
Freelance Disability Equality Trainer - clients include; Sefton MBC, Liverpool City Council, Breakthrough UK Ltd, Credibility Ltd, South Liverpool Housing Group, Sefton Council for Voluntary Services.
Disabilities Representative; Sefton MBC Strategic Borough Partnership.
Member; ABILITY - a peer support and self-advocacy group of disabled people who are living and/or working in Sefton.
Chair of PAID ~ Personal Assistance and Independence Development - a peer support group for people living in Sefton who are in receipt of Direct Payments to provide personal assistance.
Board Member for MCIL ~ Merseyside Coalition for Inclusive Living.
Founder member, primary Co-ordinator; CONNECT - a student-led initiative promoting diversity & inclusion at Edge Hill University; funded by Aimhigher.
Regional Organiser for DAN [Merseyside] ~ The Disabled People's Direct Action Network.
Member; Regional Advisory Group for Granada Television [Manchester].
Member; Access Advisory Committee, Southport General Hospital Trust.

Appeared in numerous TV documentaries both in the UK and the USA, including 3 'World In Action' shows (Granada TV).
October 2007 I wrote and presented an internal not-for-transmission training video around disability inclusion for the BBC, filming in Glasgow.
A regular panellist Granada TV's late-night discussion show 'The Last Word'.
In December 2005 I took part as a contestant in ITV's political show 'Vote For Me!' and came 4th - the show had over 20,000 applicants.
I have also been the main 'keynote' [or singular] speaker at many influential conferences and events including;
'Raising the Game for Diversity' Event - organised by Jobcentreplus and sponsored by Granada Television & Centini Ltd.
